Could you BE the full-time Commodity Manager in St. Ouen, we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Commodity management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll report to Naveen Chandra (Commodity Director, based in Siegen), and work alongside global commodity leader and regional spread commodity teammates.
You'll bring.
Strong involvement and implementation of commodities strategy (or define IT for specific segment)
Manage some global supplier panel relationship (FA, Alliance Partnership,)
Responsible for commodity QCDTE and legal supplier performance management
Operational procurement responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/businesses bundling.
Animate Saving Plan Day-to-day,
you'll work closely with teams across the globe and located in various Regions and much more.
You'll specifically take care of Catering, Master Controller and On Board Fire System Commodities,
We'll look to you for :
Represent commodity
Consolidate commodity needs, inputs
Build and propose differentiation for AT through supplier innovation.
Participate actively in commodity strategy and supplier panel elaboration.
Define a strategy for specific segment according to delegation.
Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving.
Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.
Build Procurement Tender commitment
Is involved on operational tasks
Monitor Buyer activity on specific segment.
Has an operational procurement responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/PLs bundling
Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes... (All savings levers)
Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Non-Conformities Report and On Time Delivery
FAI on time
Supplier panel situation
Supplier compliancy status rate

Procurement professional background
5 to 10 years of experience in Industry
Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing
Technical and strong market knowledge of the commodity
Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, communication, ability to convince)
Ability to work in a matrix environment.
Very good Communication skills, animating a buyer network if needed.
Results oriented within a given timeline.
Negotiation and strategic vision; audacity in front of suppliers;
French language desirable / Fluent in English with international mindset
Travel Readiness 25-30%
Driving License / Passenger Vehicle
