We are seeking an HR Officer to support human resources operations within the scope of a project. The selected candidate will operate independently under the supervision of the project manager and in coordination with various departments.
The role involves tracking personnel movements and compiling HR data from multiple sources, ensuring efficient and compliant HR processes in a dynamic project environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor personnel logistics, including embarkation and disembarkation of staff and subcontractors onboard/offboard vessels.
Collect and compile HR-related data from various internal and external sources for reporting and tracking purposes.
Act as a liaison between local personnel and central HR teams to ensure alignment with project and organizational standards.
Support administrative HR processes related to international mobility.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely updates in coordination with project stakeholders.
PROFILE:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management , Business Administration , Social Sciences , or a related field.
Additional certification or training in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
International HR / Global Mobility
HR Information Systems (HRIS)
Excel for HR professionals / Data Management
Labor law basics , particularly in the oil & gas or maritime sectors
Familiarity with project-based HR practices and HR compliance in an international context is an asset.
The ideal candidate should be autonomous, proactive, and able to work in a multicultural project environment. The position requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar HR support or liaison role, ideally within an international or industrial project context.
Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data handling, reporting, dashboards).
Familiarity with international mobility and HR compliance topics is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
