Valeo's Site located in Paris, 17th arrondissement (320 employees) is the Group's Headquarters. It houses the general management of the Group's transversal functions.

We are looking for an Internal Auditor.

Your responsibilities:

- Preparation of audit engagements, including the review of all financial / non financial data available. All audit engagements are based on a risk approach.
- Audit engagements are carried out on site and concern (but not limited to):

- Financial audit (review of main balance sheet accounts and processes),

- Various projects in accordance with audit plan (focus on specific procedures such as IAR, self-billing, R&D projects...)

- Audit engagements mainly focus on controlling:

- The compliance with MAF rules and Group accounting principles,

- The compliance with local (local Gaaps) and International accounting standards (IFRS),

- The compliance with local regulations (tax and laws)

- The compliance with Internal Control set at Group level ,

- The implementation of Group Instructions (GPS releases)

- The respect of the Segregation of Duties (SoD) in the ERP.

- Redaction of reports related to audit engagements performed, detailing audit issues, assessing risks, assessing control environment, identifying root causes, providing value added recommendations to improve / strengthen procedures.
- Follow up of action plans prepared by audited entities (completeness, validity, deadline) and their implementation in due time
- 50% to 60% of the time travelling on Valeo sites in France or in foreign countries
- Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo's policies.

About you:

- Business School with a major in Finance, Audit, or accounting expertise. Finance or Management degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial financial control and/or R&D financial control in an Audit firm
- International exposure is recommended
- Fluent in minimum 2 languages - English mandatory
