What Do We Do?

Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.

Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeau, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.

In 5 years, we have:

- Deployed +700 stations and over 4000 fast-charging points
- Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a leader in the European market
- Opened several offices in France and Europe
- Raised over €1 billion in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions
- Joined the French Tech Next 40 and won the European Scale-up of the Year 2024 award
- Assembled a team of over +280 talents... and this is just the beginning !

Your Missions

We're hiring a People Ops Specialist for a 6-month mission to help us run and stabilize our HR operations across Europe

This is a hands-on role. You will take ownership of core international People processes (payroll, admin, onboarding) and make sure everything is clean, reliable, and scalable.

Electra is growing fast (300 people across 9 countries, where you'll support 140+ across 8 geographies) and counting! We need someone who can step in quickly and make things work.

Your responsibilities

Payroll Support

You take full ownership of payroll operations.

- Support the monthly cycle with our 8 providers
- Collect and validate inputs (variables, absences, contract changes)
- Ensure data consistency across systems
- Handle corrections and employee questions
- Support bonus and salary review cycles

Employee administration

- Prepare contract amendments (salary, working time, role changes)
- Keep our HRIS (Lucca) accurate and up to date
- Ensure documentation and compliance across countries is updated

Leave & absences

- Manage leave processes in Lucca
- Ensure payroll alignment
- Handle exceptions when needed

Onboarding & offboarding

- Support onboarding and offboarding end-to-end from an admin perspective
- Coordinate with IT, managers, and external partners
- Ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience

Stabilize & improve

This is a key part of the mission.

- Identify gaps or inconsistencies
- Improve processes and documentation
- Leave things in a better state than you found them

Your Profile

- 3+ years in People Ops / HR administration.
- You have experience from an international People role (fx in HR Ops Coordination) in a tech startup before and you're comfortable with the quick pace it can demand.
- Initial payroll exposure (this is critical).
- You are really detail-oriented and you rather take your time doing things right than doing it twice.
- Fluent English (extra languages are nice, but not a must as our working language is English).
