Typescript Cloud Backend Developer H/F - OSKEY

OSKEY automates the process of securing residential building access and has several unique core features which are attracting enormous interest from within the industry. This has resulted in closing our latest round of funding which allows us to now ramp up our development and you will hold a key position in our engineering team as we move out of our MVP stages.We are looking for a brilliant Typescript Cloud Backend Developer to join our App Development team and take on the exciting challenge of building our Cloud Backend applications from the ground up, laying a solid foundation, helping us shape the team and organise ourselves to deliver the best applications possible.
- Identify and analyse all the needs for each kind of end-user, to architect the Cloud Backend features required
- Design, build and maintain key functionalities of the each Cloud Backend components
- Participate in building the technical roadmap for each Cloud Backend components
- Participate in architecture and design discussions
- Foster collaborative efforts with key stakeholders to align objectives and optimise results
- Provide technical leadership to junior team members
- Conduct design and code reviews with junior team members
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise efficiency
- Help Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Help the Frontend team members with technical blockers supporting them and helping them grow
- Manage a Cloud Backend developer intern

You will BE involved in various stages of the project, from the requirement analysis to its delivery and production. You will also BE involved in contributing to improving features and the overall design of the OSKEY Platform.

Being among the first developers as our team is growing, you will have opportunities to take a leadership role whether IT would BE leading teams, technologies, and/or topics.

You will need :
- 5 or more years' experience on Node/Express (or similar), coding with Typescript
- 5 or more years' experience on RESTful API client.
- 3 or more years' experience in NoSQL databases (Firestore, MongoDB)
- 2 or more years' experience on Google Cloud Platform and/or Firebase
- Experience on MVVM and Clean Architecture
- Experience in packaging app component for reusability (npm packages)
- Experience with unit tests, integration testing and resolving performance issues
- A good understanding of CI/CD.
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Comfortable with English (written and spoken) and working in a diverse multicultural environment

IT would BE a plus to have :
- Experience with Python or Golang is appreciated !
- Experience streaming video/audio via WebRTC
- Experience working with various Cloud client SDK, such as Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) and MongoDB Atlas (Realm)
- An appetite for UI/UX, an understanding of best practices for app interactions.
