The Global IT Transformation department oversees several major transformation programs around Customer, Digital and Integration data and wishes to reinforce its Data Management team with IT Data Compliance Manager in charge of creating, maintaining and improving our current and future data processing systems, such as but not limited to: a CPC (Client Preference Center), a MDM (Master Data Management), a DQM (Data Quality Management), a C360 (Customer 360).The IT Data Compliance Manager will work primarily on compliance of Client and Sales Transactions data domains; the scope can be enlarged to other data domains in the future.He will work closely with the Global Client Data Manager, taking over all topics on implementing and monitoring the systems that will ensure Data Compliance within Pioneer in its Global Products (CPC, MDM, DQM, C360).Pioneer requires several applications and features to be implemented and maintained to ensure data compliance:A Client Preference Center that is already in production, enables:The ability to capture and historize consents provided by the clientsThe ability for the client to modify previous given consents himself via a front-endThe ability to safeguard the proof of consent and to create reports of consent if needed by the legal authoritiesThe ability to version the privacy policies signed by the clientsA global DSDR (Data Subjects Deletion requests) process that ensures client complete data deletion in both global and regional Chanel systems when requested by the ClientA global data retention clock' that calculates the date of expiry of the data, considering triggering eventsMultiple adaptations to the Global Applications (CPC, MDM, C360) to comply with local regulationsIn this environment, the Data Compliance Manager: Acts as a Product Owner of the CPC / DSDR / Retention Clock components of PioneerIs the point of contact for any technical demand on DSDR, data retention and all other privacy-related matters with the business and legal teams.Has overall responsibility for data privacy matters, extending beyond just the systems under his/her direct supervision.This role partners with several internal stakeholders and teams from IT (Global Customer data custodian, Global Location data custodian, Regional data custodians, Global Legal Teams, Integration, Operation and production, C360, Regional IT Client managers, global touchpoints owners, Security team, RUN team and other various IT functions) to develop technically sound solutions to drive CPC / MDM / DQM changes in a complex environment.What impact you create at ChanelAs a Product Owner, you are responsible for:the collection of potential new requirements from key users (Legal Teams, Regions, Divisions)piloting future developments of CPC / DSDR / Data Retention Clock featuresdeveloping User Acceptance Tests casesfollowing debugging processing with the development Teams (front-end and back-end offshore and onshore teams)monitoring the availability and the usage of the CPC / DSDR / Data Retention Clock applications in Productionmanage the planning, budget and resources of the Compliance productsAs a member of the Data Management Team, the Data Compliance Manager will:collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectationsaware of the global context of the Pioneer Project and act as an ambassador of the projectYou are energised byWorking within a team at the heart of data transformation in Paris, with stakeholders worldwideCreating value by leveraging data compliance productsPassion for new technologies and their adoption, data, and next-generation data management solutionsProject management: from Build to RunManaging cross-functional, diverse, and multicultural teamsWorking closely with Chanel's three divisions and six regionsLeading topics, driving progress, detecting weak signals and synergiesWhat you will bringMaster's degree (University, Engineering school, Business school)5+ years Programme Management experience on complex IT projects with an international span, in an international B2C environment, retail, digital and/or e-commerce.Technical Skills:Understanding of technical systems ecosystem technologies (.NET, lambda functions, Azure and AWS cloud environments, Kafka topics, Json, SLQ, GCP)Knowledge of information systems security and data-related regulations.Understanding of MDM solutions, particularly Reltio, is a plus.Soft Skills:Rigor and organizational skills.Autonomy and the ability to take initiative.Ability to collaborate with technical and business profiles.Sense of confidentiality and ethics.Must be at ease with ambiguous, complex, and volatile environmentsSuperior facilitation skills and overall ease with presenting to large and senior audiencesAnalytical mind, problem solver, strong statistical skills, data crunching-loverFluent in English and FrenchWhat Chanel can offer youImportant role with both technical and functional componentsVisibility within divisions, regions, business, legal & IT teamsPotential evolution within the entityPotential for technical (new technologies, training, etc.) and personal developmentAutonomy and room for initiativePossibility of progressing to other roles within the Chanel network in the future (regionally or in divisions).At Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress.
