As part of the Global Events Excellence team, the Events Excellence Project Manager will lead & orchestrate Global events execution, coordinating Global and local cross-functional teams to help transform the strategic intent into successful and flawless execution, thus, in line with dedicated budget and Business Ethics and compliance processes.Main responsibilities / job expectations
Congress & Events Planning & Delivery
· Be the point of contact and referent for every assigned congress/event to streamline communications (depending on complexity and level of activities, opportunity to collaborate with another project manager and split responsibilities)
· Link with Asset Teams, Cross-functional teams, Medical Excellence, Affiliates, Logistic Agencies, Booth Agencies, etc
· Drive global cross-functional planning teams and liaise with key stakeholders to gain alignment across functions
· Manage logistics, ancillary meetings/events, and affiliates participation..
· Manage external agencies (logistic, booth, others), challenge and oversee their activities
· Monitor congress activities pre-during and after the event
· Always seek for excellence in execution and potential improvements
Budget follow up & Contracts
· Creation of Purchase Orders, checking invoices, and tracking payments
· Monitoring Budget
· Create and manage service contracts with suppliers in close collaboration with Corporate Legal Affairs/Purchasing/Ethics & Compliance
· Responsible for general administrative duties as required
· To ensure all actions are conducted through ethics & compliance with company policy & flag when a risk is identified.
Travel Required - - Able to travel at least 20-40% of time
Le profil recherché
Education / Certifications:
· High School Diploma required; B.A. preferred. Demonstrated competencies in supporting/working in high-level organizations.
· 5 years with direct and sole accountability for planning, management, and oversight of all aspects of executing pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology programs, meetings, congresses, and events
· Knowledge, understanding, and experience with pharmaceutical regulations such as (HIPPA and the Sunshine Act)
· Previous management experience is a plus
Languages:
· English fluency is mandatory, French is a plus
Key Technical Competencies Required
· Hands-on working experience, knowledge, and understanding of both the conventional and pharmaceutical industries, as well as business practices that support best-in-class meeting planning management and execution within the healthcare industry
· Skilled in both written & verbal communications and able to present concepts & ideas in a public speaking format
· Ability to take the initiative to review, prioritize, and make decisions as to what is routine versus what is critical, with little supervision
· Ability to interact and Challenge all levels of stakeholders in an organization
· High level of energy, curious, team spirit, reliable, trustworthy
